Animals and Materials

Hawke's Bones and Oddities uses a variety of animal bones and parts for jewelry and art.

Animals most frequently sourced are:

Fox, Raccoon, Opossum, Coyote, Mink, Beaver, and Deer

These animals are never processed for only bones. Bones are sourced from unfortunate accidents, road-kill, animal/human conflicts, and/or failure to thrive.
Taxidermy is sourced from second-hand and antique stores. These pieces would otherwise be discarded and waste education/art opportunities.

Hawke's Bones and Oddities also uses various crystals, minerals, and stones.

Crystals, minerals, and stones most commonly used are:

Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Quartz, Carnelian, Obsidian, Aventurine, Tourmaline, Fluorite, Agate, Jasper, etc..

These materials and hand hand-selected and chosen for quality. No two are the same. Materials are never sourced from areas of conflict or illegal business practices.
